WORK

Different problems. A consistent way of working.

I’ve worked across technology, healthcare, higher education, consumer products, museums and manufacturing. The industries have changed. The pattern hasn’t: I find what matters, bring the right people together, and build a practical way forward.

We design futures

Independent Strategy Practice · 2023–Present

I founded We Design Futures to bring strategy, innovation and organizational design work to leaders navigating growth and change. I created FutureSprint™, a proprietary strategy methodology, and used it to guide strategic planning for organizations from a billion-dollar Maine bank to a New Hampshire recovery company scaling its growth strategy.

The work has ranged from strategic planning and scenario work with executive teams and Boards to organizational design and assessment engagements using tools like the Predictive Index, and workshops for audiences from Vistage CEO peer groups to a national climate conference.

“They challenged us to look closely at where we are and where we need to go. Their thorough and collaborative process — including employee interviews, predictive methods, and scenario planning — was crucial in helping us focus beyond day-to-day operations. We now have a living, working strategic plan to guide us into the future.”

Bill Kany · EVP & Chief Risk Officer, Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution
